Kinzua East KOA

Within the Allegheny National Forest, Kinzua East KOA operates as a seasonal campground from mid-April through late November. The property borders the national forest on two sides and sits roughly seven miles from Kinzua Wolf Run Marina, providing access to both forest trails and water activities. Sites accommodate RVs up to 50 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections.

The campground features closely spaced sites that offer limited privacy between neighbors, according to camper feedback. Bathrooms receive consistent praise for cleanliness from visitors. Staff members are reported as helpful, and the facility includes standard amenities like WiFi, a dump station, and shower facilities. The forested setting provides shade coverage across most sites.

Access to the property involves some rough road conditions that campers should factor into their arrival plans. Cell service availability varies throughout the campground. The seasonal operation means advance planning is essential, as the facility closes completely during winter months. Dennis S. notes it's "just a nice camp" with clean facilities.

For campers exploring the broader region, Woodhaven Acres Cabins and Campground sits three miles west, while Tracy Ridge provides another option seven miles northwest. The location works well as a base for exploring both forest recreation and lake activities in the area.

Quiet and Clean

Stayed 3 days, 2 nights from a Sunday-Wednesday and we practically had the place to ourselves. Helpful staff, clean bathrooms!

Solid choice for camping in ANF

This Koa is above average for KOA campgrounds. My biggest complaint is the sites are very close and offer little privacy

Terrible experience

We had reservations to stay here. We pulled up after a long drive to a “closed/keep out” sign. We were not informed in any way that they would be closed. There was a guy there who said there was a death in ownership. He told us to leave the area because they didn’t want anyone to think they were open. He was not a pleasant person. We just needed a few minutes to let our dogs out and figure out if we could get a site somewhere else. We called KOA customer service and were able to get our reservation deposit refunded.

Nice secluded campground

We spent a week there, nice campground. 2 sides border the Alleghany National Forest. Only 7 miles from Kinzua Wolfe marina. Great surroundings. Clean bathrooms, just a nice camp.
