Umpqua NF Dispersed near Diamond Lake (Hwy 138)

Description

This expansive open flat sits in the Umpqua National Forest along Highway 138, just north of Diamond Lake, in a stretch of forest reshaped by past wildfire — giving the area wide-open sightlines to Mt. Thielsen and Mt. Bailey that a closed canopy would never allow. The lot is enormous, paved-road accessible, and comfortably accommodates rigs of any size with strong cell signal overhead. Mosquitoes can be aggressive in early summer; late-season visits tend to be quieter and bug-free.
