Rogue River NF Dispersed off NF 302

The Upper Rogue River corridor through Rogue River National Forest runs fast and clear at roughly 3,000 feet elevation, hemmed in by old-growth conifers and volcanic terrain — and Forest Road 6800-302 puts you right on the bank. Multiple flat, spread-out sites line the river here, ranging from open sandy clearings to shadier tent-friendly pockets, with at least one established fire ring and a small beach with a swimmable deep pool. The access track is 2WD-friendly but narrow in places; smaller rigs and vans handle it well, while full-size motorhomes should look elsewhere. No cell service and no developed amenities.
