Tamarack Campground

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Accessible via forest roads, Tamarack Campground provides sites on open terrain within Whitman National Forest. The US Forest Service manages this established campground from May through October. Sites sit near a creek, offering water access for campers who enjoy stream proximity.

The campground's open layout means limited natural shade and wind protection. Two Color Campground sits just over a mile north for those comparing nearby options. The forest road access requires standard clearance vehicles but may become rough during wet conditions. This spot works well for campers who prefer straightforward access and don't mind exposed sites.
