BLM-managed forest along Miller Road near the Alsea Falls area offers a quiet, shaded retreat in the Coast Range foothills of western Oregon, with Walters Mountain rising to the east and a developed campground just over a mile up the road. Multiple level pull-outs along the road accommodate several vehicles, including larger rigs, and the spot sees little traffic on weekdays. No cell signal, no facilities — bring everything in and pack everything out.
