Description
Tall ponderosa pines and long views toward the Cascade foothills and Mt. Jefferson define this dispersed area in the Ochoco National Forest, sitting at roughly 5,800 feet near the base of Lookout Mountain. The Baneberry Trail and connecting routes pass directly alongside, making it a natural base for hiking and biking into the surrounding terrain. The area accommodates large rigs with room to spread out, and light cell signal is generally available.
