Eight Dollar Mountain BLM Dispersed

Description

BLM open space in the shadow of Eight Dollar Mountain occupies a rugged corner of southwestern Oregon's Illinois Valley, where serpentine soils and botanical rarities define the surrounding landscape. The dispersed pull-offs here are well-used and uneven — flat ground takes some hunting, and some road noise carries from nearby Forest Road 4201. A steep scramble leads down to the river, and the area has no facilities.
