Description
On the southern edge of Deschutes National Forest near La Pine, this open clearing sits just off Rosland Road at roughly 4,300 feet in Oregon's high-desert ponderosa country. The flat, wide expanse can comfortably accommodate multiple large rigs at once, making it a practical overnight stop along the US-97 corridor. Road and rail noise carry to the site, so expect a busier auditory backdrop than typical backcountry dispersed camping.
