Description
Ponderosa forest rolls across this stretch of the Deschutes National Forest northwest of Bend, where a network of established dispersed sites lines Forest Road 4613-050 near the Funner mountain bike trail. Sites near the entrance are flat and spacious enough for trailers and larger rigs; the road gets rougher further in but opens up quieter, more secluded clearings with existing fire rings and ample deadfall for firewood. Cell signal is weak but generally present, and the 14-day stay limit applies.
