Description
Ponderosa-sparse high desert on the western edge of Deschutes National Forest, just off Cottonwood Road near Lava River Cave, with a network of dirt two-tracks extending well back from the pavement and room enough for trailers and larger rigs. The area is quiet and well-suited for multi-night stays, with reliable cell signal and the town of Sunriver a short drive west.
