Friendly Village

We just picked up our new 31 foot camp trailer near Eugene, OR and had no idea how long it would take to get through the entire process. We had driven up from California’s Central Valley. By the time we ate and started heading east, we had no idea where we were going to park our new adventure mobile. By 6pm we finally had cell service and found 2 campgrounds on your App that was close and had a couple open spaces still available. Unfortunately, our cell service was still sketchy, so we couldn’t log onto their website and reserve a spot.

When we arrived we found that the office was closed for the day, but one of the year round campers told the manager we were there. Laura greeted us in her golf cart and had us meet her at space 25, where we were able to log onto the site and walk through the process. We were introduced to other campers, told who to go to for help in a pinch, where the best local cuisine was, how local emergency services worked, about the wildlife, walks to take, and that our Corgis were welcome, but all dogs must be on leash and their waste be picked up and placed in the trash.
