Black Mountains and White Oaks

We have 1 RV site (currently occupied for the 2025 season) and 1 tent site on 22 acres of flat land in the South Toe Valley at the base of Mt Mitchell (highest peak on the East Coast) and the Black Mountain range. The view of the mountain range from our property and the RV site is incredible! We have mowed walking paths where you can enjoy the wildflowers, wildlife, and beautiful views. The South Toe River is less than a half mile away and is a great place to swim, fish, tube, kayak and canoe. There are great hiking trails nearby, and the Blue Ridge Parkway is 8 miles away (via a NC Scenic Byway). This is a rural area with several cute little towns that have restaurants, bars, and shopping: Burnsville (12 miles away), Spruce Pine (16 miles away), and Little Switzerland (11 miles away). We live in a log cabin on the property near the paved road.
