Overview
Topsail Sound RV Park is a large, year-round RV resort in Holly Ridge, NC, operated by Thousand Trails (MHC/ELS portfolio). The park consists of 345 extra-large lots on the mainland side of Topsail Island, minutes from Jacksonville and Wilmington. It caters primarily to seasonal and annual lease guests but also accepts transient nightly and weekly bookings without a Thousand Trails membership.
Facilities
All sites offer full hookups with water, sewer, and 30/50-amp electric service. Amenities include two swimming pools (seasonal), a recreation room/community center, laundry facilities, a pavilion, propane service, boat/RV storage lots, and a playground. The park is a gated community with paved internal streets and accommodates back-in and pull-through configurations for large rigs.
Recreation
The park is within walking distance of a state-maintained, 100-foot fishing pier on the sound, designed by the US Army Corps of Engineers and open year-round. The pier supports fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. Topsail Island beaches are a short drive away.
