Harbor Point RV Community

Harbor Point RV Community operates as a private RV park in Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, with rates ranging from $75-$100 per night. The facility accommodates RVs up to 50 feet and provides full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections along with WiFi access.

The park functions primarily as an RV community with a mix of long-term residents and transient campers. Sites are positioned close together, which creates a compact layout that some visitors find restrictive during busier periods. Jennifer A. notes the park is "quiet on the back side," suggesting noise levels vary by location within the property. Low-hanging tree branches in some areas may scrape taller RVs during maneuvering.

Facilities include clean, heated bathrooms and a pool for guest use. The park maintains strict community rules appropriate for its residential nature, and management operates during standard business hours. A designated dog area serves pet owners, though its proximity to some sites may affect those sensitive to odors during warmer months. Staff receives positive mentions for being accommodating to visitors' needs.

The location serves campers exploring coastal North Carolina, with options for places to camp around Holly Ridge available for those seeking different environments. Harbor Point works best for RVers comfortable with close neighbors and community-style camping rather than those seeking a traditional campground experience.

Clean Bathrooms, oh yeah!

We were here in December, the place was quiet. These sites are on top of each other and I don’t know that I’d use this campground during high season … and the doggie area was right behind us.. full summer heat would probably be a bit smelly for me… but … we had a site with no neighbors, and nearly no dogs while here so it was quiet, the cg is clean and the bathrooms are exceptionally clean and heated. All the amenities were in nice condition so if don’t mind tight neighbors during high season… and you’re a dog lover this is a great value and camp ground. If you’re not so keen on tight neighbors or dogs … I’d recommend off season stays. All in all a great campground.

Nice park

Nice park, mix of weekend campers and quite a bit of long term campers. Quiet on the back side. Staff is very kind and accommodating. Nice pool. We have a 38ft rig and some of the trees are very low and scrape the top.

Stay elsewhere

This is an RV community not a campground. It’s very strict (which is totally proper for a community) but we found as “transients” that we were unwelcome. As a community this seems like a legit place to live or have a semi permanent spot. No camping store, no fire rings, no shade, the residents are not kind. The owners are as accommodating as they can be but it’s a 9-5 gig. If you’re looking for a fun beach camping trip this isn’t it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What facilities and amenities are available at Harbor Point RV Community?

The sites are generally open with limited shade, and the layout accommodates larger rigs up to 38 feet, though some low-hanging trees may present challenges for taller vehicles. The park is primarily designed as a residential community rather than a traditional campground, so it lacks typical camping amenities like fire rings and a camp store. The community has a designated dog area for pets. The park maintains a strict rule environment consistent with its focus on being a residential community rather than a transit campground.

Harbor Point RV Community receives mixed ratings. Positives include the friendly and accommodating staff, clean swimming pool, and the quiet atmosphere, particularly on the back side of the property. The park is noted for being well-maintained but very different from traditional campgrounds. Some visitors appreciate the community's orderly environment, while others note it may not be ideal for short-term campers due to its residential focus and strict rules.
