Hot corn field with water and electric hookups

Wouldn’t go here again, had amenities but the beauty of those was killed by the 168 degree corn field we were in. Kids screaming, parents yelling. It was hard to think about typing this very review from all the chaos.

Large RV Park

All sites are back ins on concrete long sites. Easy back ins. Nicely maintained. Trash picked up daily. No wifi. Wind occasionally a challenge. Don’t leave awning out unattended. Price is reasonable. Good Sam discount. Camping World store next door.
Adjacent to a River for tubing and fishing. Stayed from April 15 - September 15

Tom Johnson’s

We booked our site over a month in advance. The day we arrived they just installed a new booking system so our reservation was not in the system. We originally payed for a paved pull thru end site for the extra yard space. Those sites were unavailable (sold out). They moved us to an unpaved site in the middle of a row. They also stated that the campground was fully booked due to it being July 4th. They also refunded us the difference in the site cost. They do have a play ground for kids and a river to fish in. Due to the holiday they are having so extra activities brought in. Overall it’s an ok campground but with the issues checking in and normally not much to do we may not be back.
