Toe River Campground

Toe River Campground is owned and operated by Yancey County Parks and Recreation. We are a family oriented campground offering full hook up, water and electric and primitive camping. We are located on the beautiful South Toe River, approximately 10 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway (mile post 344) and approximately 25 miles from Mt. Mitchell State Park. The entire property is covered with WiFi internet connection.

Toe River Campground is a family oriented, alcohol free, county owned and operated campground located in Yancey County.

Patience Park and Toe River Campground are strictly alcohol-free facilities. Violators can and will be prosecuted under Yancey County Ordinance #2011-01

Our camping season generally runs from mid April thru mid October
