Nice spot to explore Linville Gorge and Lake James

We stayed here for the weekend in May of 25’.  The spot was easy to pull my 26’ camper in and was pretty level. Good access to 30A power/water/sewer and a serene creek just a few yards from your front door. The hosts left a great book with all the local spots on the picnic table. Between hiking on the east and west rims of Linville Gorge and mountain biking the Fonta Flora trail we didn’t spend a ton of time at the campsite but it was very a nice place to make basecamp for our adventures. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent Private Campsite on the Creek

We loved the privacy, location, and serenity of this campground. We live in the country and are used to more seclusion. Typically, when we go camping, we are in a campground right next to many other campers - the opposite of home. The location was great - easy driving distance to the trails we wanted to hike and ride our mountain bikes. The only suggestion is to have a convenient place to dispose of trash easier - we had to hunt for a public trash bins (but not a major obstacle).
