Great little spot next to creek

We needed a spot and found it by search on internet leaving Tallulah Gorge afternoon.

Got here around 6 pm after a shopping round since we had some issues with the power in our van we needed a extended cord to run our coffee mashine.

Great spot ,just for the night and near the rafting area and check in for that early next morning.

We washed some clothing and used the bathrooms and ate in the Van and drove next morning to the rafting area. Slept good.

Campground looked rather new set up and Bathouse is new. And the laundry mashines is so good to have at any place.

Beautiful visit to the Smokies!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful campground.

We were in site 6, which is creekside, and has a fire pit, four benches, and a fire pit. Sitting out by the creek was very peaceful!

This is a smaller campground, so there isn’t an on site office or store, but it’s pretty close to downtown and grocery stores.

The bathrooms and showers were clean, but the hot water didn’t last quite as long as other campgrounds we’ve been to. The laundry is only 2 washers and 4 dryers, but we didn’t have to wait for them at all during our stay.

We would definitely stay here again!

So much wrong at this campground

Where do I start?  We booked a 4 night stay along with some friends who booked the site right next ours. We arrived to find a peaceful setting but no office or management on site.  We were left to find our own sites using our reservation confirmation.  The sites are a decent size, but all loose gravel.  It’s difficult to walk on, and no grass for the dogs.  The fact that there was no camp management on site left us with a sense of unease if there were to be an emergency of any kind.

After we were settled in, the camp owner showed up to inform us he had arbitrarily changed one of our site numbers which meant we were separated from our friends by several sites.  He was somewhat rude when he informed us and was unwilling to compromise in any way.

We are aware that this is a new campground facility, but there is a definite lack of experience and common sense with this owner.  Hopefully he will improve in time but we won’t be back.

Fantastic visit!

So very peaceful! The sites are very spacious and have cute rock fire pits with benches set around it. The creek is beautiful. The showers are hot and the bathrooms are clean. I’m very happy with the stay.
