Nestled 10 miles outside Hayesville, our 11-acre Magical Mountain Resorts campground backs into the Tusquitee Ranger District of the Nantahala National Forest. Covering many of the mountains and valleys of southwestern North Carolina, the Nantahala National Forest is the largest in the state, encompassing 531,148 acres with elevations ranging from 5,800 feet at Lone Bald in Jackson County to 1,200 feet in Cherokee County along the Hiwassee River. In addition to stunning views and hiking opportunities, the forest also boasts access to three beautifully pristine lakes, two major rivers, and three large reservoirs.

These awe-inspiring landscapes provide the perfect backdrop for families and individuals looking to escape from the daily grind by relaxing in nature or enjoying recreational activities including boating, water skiing, fishing, swimming, and sailing.

Guests can relax at a table overlooking the water or enjoy sitting on a covered front deck or around the firepits located on-site. The glow in the dark teapots hanging from the trees greet guests and glowing flowers add a magical touch as night starts to fall.
