Great atmosphere

We took advantage of my hubby’s 55+ status and parked here for a night. Everyone was super nice and welcoming. It was quiet and nice. They have a heated pool, which we didn’t use but it was clean. The showers were clean, and nice and roomy.

Camp sites are a little closer together and not very private, but everyone is super respectful. If you’re looking for a little more space, best to book on the far side of the park near the dog run. A little more space with a tree or two between if you can get the right spot.

Internet is a little slow, but you can upgrade for a night for $3. I had to call the help number for assistance and by then we were pulling out.

Very thorough instructions once you arrive, but the driving instructions can be a little confusing and make getting in sound more complicated than it is. If you’re going East, turn left off the freeway and then a left again. West, turn right and then a left. Great stay & we’ll be back!

Nice quiet campground

Sites are close together. A lot of park models. Campsites have full hookups. Pool is wonderful. Usually you have it to yourself never saw it crowded. Bathhouse clean and attached to office so uphill from campground.

Park is clean and safe lots are very close to one another. Bath house is clean but Foundation seems somewhat weak and wobbly. Pool was closed. Hook ups for water were marginal. 2.5 of 5

Friendly Age-restricted Campground

Reservations were easy, communications plentiful. They offer back-in and pull-thru sites. We stayed in site 79 which was very level and convenient to the pool, clubhouse and incredibly clean public restrooms. No fires allowed at the sites but there is a firepit and a bbq at the gazebo. Grocery stores and restaurants are just minutes away. We cannot wait to go back.

Clean and quiet with nice amenities

This campground is for those that are 55 and over, however your children or grandchildren are always welcome with you.  They have several pull through spots along with the permanent folks that live in the campground.  There is a nice pool and pool deck, an exercise room and a common area that has a pool table, books to read, board games, a keyboard and tv room where you can just hang out.  This campground is located close to the interstate and downtown Hendersonville with lots of restaurants.  Also close by is the Dupont State Forest, places to hike, Lake Lure etc.
