Overview
Cooperstown Deer Run Campground is a family-owned, privately operated campground situated between woodlands and open farmland at 7489 State Highway 80, approximately nine miles north of Cooperstown near the northern end of Otsego Lake. The campground offers RV and tent sites as well as rustic cabins, making it suitable for a range of camping styles. It operates seasonally, generally from mid-April through mid-October.
Facilities
Full-hookup RV sites include water, sewer, and 30-amp electric service (water to full-hookup sites available from at least May 1). A remodeled shower house and bathrooms are on-site, along with coin laundry, a camp store, and a fenced swimming pool. Wi-Fi is available at and near the main office but does not reach individual sites. A dump station, fire rings, picnic tables, and trash service are also provided.
Recreation
On-site activities include a swimming pool, playground, horseshoe pits, basketball court, volleyball court, disc golf, and fishing. Cable TV hookups are available per Campspot listing.
