This hike-in campground requires backpacking gear and advance planning, as no vehicle access reaches the sites. Campers must carry all supplies including water, despite drinking water being listed as available on-site. WiFi access seems unlikely given the remote hiking location. The single site sits near what appears to be a river or water feature, though mosquitoes can be heavy during certain seasons according to recent visitors. For regional access, the area serves as a base for campgrounds around Ute Park. Plan for insect protection during warmer months.

Mosquitos Haven

It was our first night on trail and would’ve been a nice campsite with a nice view by the RRI but there were tons of mosquitoes and they were relentless but other then that it was a decent campsite with a nice view
