Description
Deep in the ponderosa and mixed-conifer terrain of Santa Fe National Forest, this small clearing sits several hundred yards off FR 376 via a rocky 4x4 spur — high clearance and four-wheel drive are genuinely needed on the approach. A fire ring marks the spot, and the uneven ground calls for leveling blocks or a shovel. No cell service reaches this far into the forest.
