Description
Perched in Carson National Forest above the Ghost Ranch corridor, this high-desert pullout sits off FR 151 (Chama Canyon Road) along the CDT Ghost Ranch Alternate, with open sightlines toward El Monte Rojo and the surrounding mesa country. The access track is steep and uneven, demanding 4WD low and high-clearance capability. Evenings here reward with sweeping mesa views, and road noise from nearby Highway 84 doesn't carry to the site.
