BLM Dispersed off County Road A-8

Description

This stretch of BLM desert in southern New Mexico's Chihuahuan lowlands opens into a wide apron of flat terrain broken by small dunes and sandy hummocks — open country with plenty of room to spread out. A good dirt road off County Road A-8 reaches the area in about half a mile, and the mostly firm ground handles larger rigs well, though a few softer sandy pockets warrant attention. Cell signal is minimal out here.
