Wonderful Campground

Great campground! Clean, well maintained, playground and heated pool. The view of the mountains was worth the price alone

Nice stay

We went to this campground for the ATV event, and were pleasantly surprised. Our campsite was up in the “back” over looking the mountain. It was great. Quiet and good location.

Large wooded tent sites in the White Mountains

Stayed here in May 2018 and really enjoyed the quiet town of Gorham in the White Mountains.  We came in early May so it was still early in the season but we had a wooded tent site in the back of the campground and felt very secluded from the rest.  Lot's of great hiking within an hour of the property including Mt Madison, Mt Washington and a little further out is the Flume Gorge in Lincoln that I highly recommend.

Nice Rustic campground, some sites a little close to the road.

I stayed here for three nights while working at the Mount Washington Climb to the Clouds and had a great time.  It was unfortunate that my site was close to the main road, but that was my fault and it didn't really change how my weekend was.  They have remote sites for camping, see video.

The owner was a lot of fun, and even though our interactions were brief, they were all positive.

The facilities were clean, bathrooms provided in two locations, one with a dish pit for cleanup one with coin op showers, and the remote campsites have a port-a-pot.

There is a small market in the office for basic supplies, Ice and wood.

The property is gated and you are given an access card.

I would stay here again.

Mt. Washington area

Older campground run by an experienced and friendly couple. Varied sites that have what most are looking for. Some open sites up front with wooded sites further in. 2 bathroom areas with showers and laundry at the office area. Heated pool and play area for kids. Light road noise from the highway but mostly during the day. Close to the community of Gorham which has all you need regarding restaurants and shopping. Overall a very nice experience.

Good clean camping fun

The bathroom was super clean and there was plenty of wood around for fire making. Also gorgeous hiking trails at the back of the camp ground. Grass or wooded sites available. Pool and playground!

A little something for everyone

This Camping Park has something for just about everyone. Whether you have an RV (small, medium or large), tent, are looking for a cabin or want a little more of a wilderness feel, this place has something to offer.

While the campground looks to be primarily RV camping from the road, there are many tent sites tucked away in the trees and even two sites that are walk-in only and are situated right on the Androscoggin River. Additionally, the campground has several nice cabins available as well.

Let's start with the RV sites: there are a bunch! This campground also hosts many seasonal campers who have sites situated around the perimeter of both sides of the campground (split by Route 2). Seasonal campers have some pretty sweet set-ups for sure. The only downside to some of the RV spots is that they can be in the sun almost all day which can be a bit much in the heart of the summer. Otherwise, sites are well maintained and have all the normal hookups for RVs.

Tent sites are well spaced and almost all of them are in the shade which is a huge bonus! Each site has a picnic table, fire ring and nice level spot to pitch your tent. Bath houses are conveniently located throughout the campground and are well maintained.

The two walk-in tent sites are very secluded and offer fire rings, picnic tables, a bear box and one of the two sites has a wooden tent platform. The second site's tent platform is currently being built (July 2020) and should be at the site and ready for use soon. These sites sit right on the beautiful Androscoggin River, offering a serene backdrop for your camping adventure.

The campground is situated in-between two large tracts of the White Mountain National Forest. Great hiking is available at the campground as well as a short drive away. If hiking is a hobby of yours, look no further! This is a great location to base yourself out of to get some solid miles under your belt. There is a campground office that has a small store as well as laundry facilities. They also offer an AT Hiker Hostel. They also have a nice heated swimming pool, playground and many other amenities. When there isn't a global health pandemic, they have a bouncy house for the kids. They often show movies on the lawn when the weather cooperates. They also rent kayaks and you can launch from the campground or they will shuttle you some place near by.

It really is a campground with a little bit of everything! Owned by locals of the community who have run the place for over 25 years.

Great weekend getaway!!

We had such an incredible time while here! The campgrounds store is open until 10pm which is pretty convenient! They have a private trail about 1.6 miles there and back that leads to a swimming basin, it’s absolutely gorgeous and a must see. Quite a few activities for kids- bounce house, play ground and heated swimming pool. On Saturday nights around 7pm they blow up a projector for movie night which was a pleasant surprise. However, quiet time isn’t until 11pm which is kinda late compared to other campgrounds I’ve been too. Also, they require a $10 CASH deposit for access to the gate key which we weren’t aware of when we got here and I couldn’t find any mention of it on their website. Only about a 5 minute drive to the center of town/Walmart and about a 15-20 minute drive to the Mt Washington Auto Road. Overall a great experience!
