The Best Camping Near Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada

Stayed here one night. Level gravel parking.  Full hookup.  Swimming pool no bathroom or showers.  Location is in the older part of town.  Street people are nearby.  They have night security.  Nice hosts.  7 miles to Las Vegas strip  closer to downtown.

Plain jane

We were there the beginning of Dec 2020 for a week. It isn’t anything special but it was clean. Had a nice laundry room with a place to hang your clothes if you wanted to. There are bathrooms with several showers that were very clean.  It isn’t a resort and it’s in the lower class part of town but we enjoyed our stay. Met some nice people.  

Simple but clean

A really nice and clean park. Super impressed. They have a pool, laundry and dog relief areas. Nice designated parking for your vehicles as well. The staff is super nice and accommodating not to mention the sites are being totally sanitized after each use(the hook up boxes and grounds being raked)
Please lock your belongings this is not the best part of town like I’ve said about Boulder highway before. 
Your about 10 minute drive to down town Las Vegas and about 15 minute drive to the strip. Oh and NO tent camping allowed either it’s a law here. 

Super clean 

This place is crowded, but safe. Far from the highways and the stip. I forgot my surge protector here. The office manager was kind to keep it in safe place for me until I found a way to get it to ship back home. Probably will never stay here again. Washer and dryer are 2 dollars each and in ok shape. 

Safe, quiet, but far from the strip.

This place has all the basic amenities you will need. There is no tent camping, only rigs. The prices start around $40 a night with hookups. They did have security patrolling through the park, so that is a plus for the location. Everything was clean and well kept. They do allow up to two pets, however, large dogs and aggressive breeds are not allowed. "Don't follow the GPS coordinates on The Dyrt app." It lead me right into the middle of the neighborhood next to the facility.  Not cool when pulling a trailer.
