Echo Bay Upper Campground is located near Lake Mead National Recreation Area in Nevada. The terrain consists of desert landscapes with rocky outcrops and sparse vegetation. Temperatures can range from 40°F in winter to over 100°F in summer. Nearby attractions include Lake Mead for water activities and the Hoover Dam for sightseeing.

The Best Camping Near Overton, Nevada

The upper echo bay NPS campground is only one small loop now, the others are all closed down and mothballed.  There are only a few sites large enough for RVs and TTs though. No full hookups. Cost is $20/$10 senior, cashless now, need to either reserve beforehand or pay online onsite. Dumpsters, and a restroom. Cell signal is good at the upper cg, not so good at the lower cg.  The lower cg is more suited for car truck and van campers. The marina has a small mini mart. There is a free RV dump here and also water spigots and trash dumpsters.
