Carson Valley Viewpoint Dispersed — BLM Sierra Front

Description

A high ridge above Carson City hosts this BLM pullout along Goni Road, delivering sweeping views of the valley below by day and clear dark skies after dark — wild horses have been spotted passing through the surrounding scrubland. The access road climbs steeply but is manageable in two-wheel drive, opening onto a wide flat area near a gate where rigs up to 35 feet have parked without trouble. Cell signal is reliable, and a short walk beyond the gate reveals an additional vantage over Washoe Lake to the northwest.
