Description
The rim above the vast Black Rock Playa in northwestern Nevada's BLM high desert commands sweeping views across one of the largest dry lakebeds in North America. The area holds multiple rock-ringed fire pits and enough flat ground to spread out a crowd, though some positions carry a subtle grade — leveling blocks are useful. Access is roughly two miles off the pavement via a washboard gravel road, manageable at any clearance level but slow going.
