Willow View at Red Willow Reservoir SRA is near McCook, Nebraska. The area features flat plains and is close to the Red Willow Reservoir, offering opportunities for fishing and boating. Temperatures range from lows in the 20s during winter to highs in the 90s in summer, and nearby attractions include the Museum of the High Plains and the historic Carnegie Library.
Description
Some of the finest fishing and hunting in the state are found at Red Willow SRA, and the area has excellent facilities for camping and water-oriented recreation. Red Willow SRA offers 4,320 acres of land around a 1,628-acre lake. Camping, swimming, picnicking, and water recreation are very popular at Red Willow.
Park entry permit is required of all vehicles. 40ft maximum length camping unit. No livestock allowed. All pets must be on a leash no longer than 6' No golf carts/4 wheelers
