This municipal campground operates from April to October in Crete, with sites accommodating RVs up to 40 feet and full electric hookups. The facility includes showers, drinking water, and a dump station, plus allows campfires and pets. Cell service reaches the grounds.

During local events like the county fair, the campground may reserve sites exclusively for event participants and 4-H groups, potentially limiting availability for general camping. For other places to camp around Denton, Olive Creek Lake State Recreation Area sits 7.3 miles southeast with lake access.

Camp ground becomes private or reserved

Was going to stay for the fair and other events and was told camp ground was reserved for fair people and 4 h . Well thats fine but put up a sign saying camp ground is closed. We were there first and We were first told we could stay so we unloaded and were then told we could not stay. Bad deal We will NOT ever be back.
