I really enjoyed Lewis and Clark except when I booked the campsite the website said it was a hike-in site and it was only yards from my car in an opened area. I was very disappointed but it was a very slow weekend and only one other group there so it wasn't a big deal. I had a full view of the lake and the surrounding area and it was beautiful. It was very quiet and enjoyable to camp at.

Sorry I don't have pictures to share as my time here was from before I had an iPhone and readily available but this was a great camping area with awesome access to biking, the water, etc.  really fun if you have access to a boat.  campground was well maintained as well.  Highly recommend.

Great

Each campsite has a gravel pad, picnic table and fire pit. We had electric only but water is available. Tent sites are also available. Bathrooms are very clean and well stocked. 
Fishing and boating 

Quiet, clean

Nice clean park right on the lake/river. Stayed in Wiegand Campground. Campsites close to eachother and has a lot of concrete. Beautiful sunset on the water. Mix of tents and RVs. Bring quarters if you will want to take a shower!

RVs are very close to tent sites.  Sites are a decent size. Campground us very open. Sites are a very long way from the lake, showers, and beach. 
They  charge for showers bring a lot of quarters. 
Staff are very friendly. The marina store has a small selection of house hold items and fishing supplies. 

Just Ok

Pros: Well kept, scenic, fire pits, picnic tables, store onsite, golf course nearby, bar nearby

  

Cons: Site 32 was a little shorter than the 50' length I expected, had to park the pull vehicle in the grass to stay off the road. Only electricity is available at the pads, dump station had no water to clean out as of 10/2022. 

  

We stayed at site 32 on Weigand campground and our friends stayed next to us on 34. I would recommend either site. Site 32 was a little tight with a 28' 5th wheel and a 20' long truck. Site 34 has an extended width pad for some extra parking but is just as short. After being there I believe those were the best sites we could have reserved. We ended up at the nearby bar CJ's at The Lake to hang out and it was a great find. I have no real complaints about this campground.

Sites on near lake side are great

We are staying at a basic tent camping site. There is available to us a pit toilet. Water is still shut down for the season. 

Luckily, they do offer off-season rates. A Nebraska park permit is required for your vehicle.

Picnic table and fire ring are also here for us.

We are the only ones here in the entire park (mid-March 2025). Grounds are clean. Our site (site 5) is very large, and located on a small Bluff above the Missouri river.

Walking paths, frisbee golf, playgrounds, fishing, and boating are all available. 

I have 4 bars of 5G cell service at my camp site. A WIFI hot spot is available at the camp office as well.
