It is big-rig friendly, though at least one reviewer found that recent utility trenching left unpacked dirt in some sites, causing leveling problems for larger fifth wheels. That's worth checking on before committing.

The campground has 30-amp and 50-amp electric hookups, drinking water, vaulted toilets, picnic tables, and firewood available on site. Reviewers confirm horseshoe pits and a playground for kids. There is no Verizon signal here, and the surrounding hills block over-the-air TV. Mosquitoes can be active at night. A short hike over the hill leads to a pond. The nearest dump station is roughly 9 miles west in Chinook, located between two gas stations.

Crowding has come up in multiple reviews. The campground operates first-come, first-served, but some visitors have arrived to find other campers informally holding multiple hookup sites. Arriving earlier in the day reduces the risk of finding the electric sites claimed. BLM BR-12 Prairie Marsh sits to the north as an alternative if hookups are unavailable, and Fort Belknap Tourism Office is another option to the southeast. Zurich Park works best for RV travelers or tent campers making a Highway 2 overnight stop who don't need reservations or full-service amenities.
