Description
Storm Castle Creek runs through a forested corridor in the Gallatin National Forest, where dispersed camping sits at the base of Storm Castle peak along a rough, pothole-marked stretch of NFR 132. A pedestrian bridge from the trailhead parking crosses to a more open flat that accommodates several small rigs and tent setups. Access road conditions and a recurring winter closure make this a warm-season destination; no cell service and no amenities keep the atmosphere genuinely remote.
