Great Site; Shockingly Cold

We spent a night here on the way out from Yellowstone. Plenty of spots available when we pulled in about 8 pm. The spots are pretty well spread out over 11 miles. There were no flies when we were camping so I think the previous camper must have had an issue with their trash bag. It did rain the night we were there and we woke up to 34 degrees. That was shockingly cold for us Arizonans in August. I guess that is just something to be prepared for. Overall a great sites with a pit toilet and campfire rings for use. I recommend it for any Yellowstone visitors looking for a spot.

Fly haven

While the area is very nice to camp at I was second-guessing if my trash bag on my truck was the cause of the flies or if the area was riddled with them. Bright open space Starlink is great, no phone signal for T-Mobile, and the animal sounds at night are something to lock your doors for. Otherwise, it was an awesome stay. Keep driving down the road to reach the loo that's clean as well with stocked toilet paper. Campfire pits are at each site. Make sure you park at a designated site not on the river.

Quiet stay

Quiet stay, drive in wasn't too horrible. Some people showed up late and loud to the area but then left after backing their tailgate into a tree. Nice rock fire rings!

Breathtaking views with a creek

Quiet, breathtaking view of the creek, mountains and forest. Absolutely gorgeous and peaceful place to camp. About 40 minutes to west Yellowstone entrance

Stunning cliff views, secluded, and quiet

This is very remote feeling with no cell reception or views of any paved roads or buildings. You cannot hear traffic from the highway which is about 1/3 miles away.

There are wooden horse fences and corrals which are for public use. There is a rock fire ring and a very uneven parking spot - bring your levelers!

The scenery is stunning with easy access to the creek and a huge cliff on the other side. The area is wooded with green grass and wildflowers everywhere.

We camped in site 1, the first of three on the first loop.

So far, the only thing we can hear are birds chirping, the flowing creek, and the sounds of our children squealing with delight as they play out in the grassy field. There are the occasional vehicles passing by on the dirt road (other campers, assumably).

10/10, would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Easy Access Campground

This is a fantastic campground with lots of empty sites along Taylor Creek. The site I stayed at had a fire pit with lots of room to setup a tent or camper if you’re interested. Lots of distance between each campsite and again, a pretty valley view with a beautiful creek.

Beautiful Site

We stayed one night on our way back from Yellowstone. My RTT was perfect for this. There was a small corral for horses and plenty of room for a horse trailer and truck.
