Description
Deep inside the Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge in northeastern Montana, this primitive riverside spot sits within a mile of the Slippery Ann Elk Viewing Area — one of the refuge's signature wildlife corridors. The terrain is remote high-plains breaks country, with no cell signal and pit toilets nearby as the only amenity. Access is not suited to larger rigs.
