Description
Petroglyph Canyon cuts through open BLM rangeland in south-central Montana, just northwest of the Wyoming border, with wide views and genuine quiet once you leave the pavement behind. A rocky but manageable access road leads to a small trailhead pullout where a metal fire ring with grill top marks the camping area. The approach is workable for mid-size rigs; larger vehicles should expect a tight fit.
