Nothing I have ever seen at a NFS CG

Well, this was a first. A NFS "campground" that is just a huge parking lot. There are 18 "sites", picnic tables, pit toilets and a boat launch. That's it. If you want to be on the water all day and only need a place to hang your hat (like some of the river access points we saw in SE Mt) this would be perfect. Plenty of room for boat trailers and even busses. Other than that, there isn't much to offer . EUREKA isn't that far if you need supplies. The place was deserted when we were there. NfS website said its open Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Good for long rigs

We were planning on staying here, but ended up at Peck Gulch up the road instead. This campground is really a big parking lot with “sites” designated throughout. If you’re in an big vehicle or towing this would be a good spot, but there isn’t really any privacy between the different sites (they’re spaced out, but there’s nothing visibly separating them). There is good water access.
