Hyalite Canyon Road Dispersed — Gallatin NF

Deep in Gallatin National Forest, Hyalite Canyon Road (FR 620) threads south from Bozeman into a dramatic corridor of peaks — Sleeping Giant Mountain rises just to the east — at an elevation just above 6,800 feet. Two designated campsites sit off a small parking pullout along this corridor, with Hyalite Creek flowing close by to the south. The access road and site layout favor smaller, high-clearance rigs over large vehicles.
