The Best Camping Near Dillon, Montana

Stopped here on the way to the Grand Tetons. This is a small first come first served USFS campground situated over a Sandy beach on the Clark Reservoir near Dillon Mt. Each campsite offers a 3 sided shelter with a picnic table. The area can be very windy. In the morning the reservoir was glassy and perfect for paddle boarding. I loved it!

Awesome view and far enough from I-15 so you have no noise.
Too windy for a fire but the fire pit is nice with two levels.  The only water source did not look operational.  Nice sandy beach.  Sites are not level. 6" off
