Description
The high benchland of Gallatin National Forest just above Gardiner holds a corridor of dispersed sites at the doorstep of Yellowstone's North Entrance, with some pullouts overlooking the town below and others facing open mountain terrain. Multiple sites are spread along a one-lane, potholed dirt road — some have fire rings and room for a small group — with the better spots requiring a few miles of travel from the trailhead sign. The road's tight turning radius and occasional steep grades make it best suited to smaller rigs and high-clearance vehicles; cell signal is unreliable without a booster.
