Gallatin NF Dispersed — FS 1347 Taylor Creek

Description

Taylor Creek cuts through a mountain corridor of Gallatin National Forest in southwest Montana, where this designated dispersed area opens to wide mountain views in every direction. Several scattered sites line the creek — some right at the water's edge, others set back among the trees — and the area is spacious enough to accommodate both tent campers and larger rigs. FS 1347 provides easy drive-in access, though the road is bumpy; expect no cell service and no amenities beyond a fire pit.
