Parked my van from 9pm to 2am. Woke up to 1 cop car circling the parking lot and then a second one called in for backup. They both got out and started shining a light in another car. I didn’t want to be bothered so I left.
GuideGreat Overnight Free Spot
We found this spot on another app and have come back twice now. This is a 24hr lot- completely free and legal to stay overnight. We checked! It has direct access to the trail system which we used a bunch. Restrooms in the Holiday gas station, as well as a portapotty on the trail. There’s also a Dunn Brothers Coffee down the road which was nice. It is right next to the highway so keep that in mind for noise.
