A single fire ring marks the extent of the amenities at Boulder Lake, a walk-in dispersed site along The Grade road corridor north of places to camp near Lutsen. The site is small. Road noise carries from The Grade, so light sleepers should factor that in before committing to the drive. Fishing, swimming, and hiking access round out the activity options at the lake. Campers wanting more developed facilities nearby can look at Crescent Lake Campground, about a mile to the southwest.
