Overview
Sun Outdoors Kensington Valley is an RV-only resort in New Hudson, Michigan, operated by Sun Outdoors and formerly known as Haas Lake Park RV Campground. Located two miles south of I-96 in Oakland County, it offers 494 RV sites set around four spring-fed lakes with beaches, making it a popular seasonal destination for Metro Detroit families.
Facilities
Sites include water and electric (30-amp) and full hookup (30/50-amp) options with back-in and pull-through configurations; no tent camping is permitted. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. On-site amenities include restrooms with hot showers, laundry, a general store, propane sales, dump station with honey wagon service, RV storage, and gated entry. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
Recreation
The four on-site spring-fed lakes each have a sandy beach for swimming and sunbathing. Water activities include fishing, kayaking, and no-wake boating. Land-based recreation includes a basketball court, volleyball, arcade/game room, playground, and organized themed weekend events for guests.
