Overview
Riverside Park Campground is a City of Evart-operated municipal campground situated along the Muskegon River in Evart, Michigan. The campground is part of the 17-acre Riverside Park West and is open seasonally from May 1 through September 30. It accommodates both RV campers and tent campers, making it a solid base for families and outdoor enthusiasts in central Michigan.
Facilities
The campground offers 15 sites, each with 30-amp electric and water hookups. Bathrooms and showers are on-site, along with a dump station and trash disposal. Potable water is available near the pavilion. Two pavilions with picnic tables are located throughout the park.
Recreation
Campers have access to a fishing and viewing platform over the Muskegon River, a boat/canoe launch ramp, playground areas, shuffleboard courts, a basketball court, beach volleyball, horseshoes, and a splash pad. The nearby Pere Marquette Trail provides opportunities for hiking and biking. Riverside Park East, directly across the river, features a trail-loop popular with walkers, joggers, and cyclists.
