Spacious, pit toilets, no dump. The lake looks nice, but the campground is very buggy. So many mosquitos it is hard to sit outside. Many ORV trails, but they are also very loud.
The owners were constantly driving around and correcting people. Rules are okay but they were over the top. They would even stop and just stare at our site while we sat outside.. it was very odd. Also not kept up at all. The playground was old and my 30 lb dog slipped out from under the “dog park”…
I stayed in the corner lot next to the playground. I spent a lot of time off the campsite during the day but at night the view was great. There was more than enough room for my tent. There was a nice spot to hang a hammock next to the road. It was a great experience

Nice little metro park for tent camping. Most sites are dispersed. You can pull your car up to the site for unpacking.
Modern bathrooms and a snack shop on site.
Park offers kayak, canoe, and row boat rentals. Also paddle boards.
Disc golf and regular golf available.
Nice sandy beaches.

Sites are good size. Reservation side has sites up to split rail fence. Ramps to walk down to water.
We stopped here in August 2020 to do a day of river tubing on the Au Sable. Stayed two nights with my family (2 adults, 4 kids) Nothing too amazing or too bad about the park. It's fairly hilly so be aware of that, and it's a bit of a walk down to the lake. However, the highlight for us was snagging…
This park is older, but has a lot to offer. There are kayak rentals, a boat launch, and activities that the host organizes. If staying on the water, there are vault toilets only and the sites are small. Seemed best for really small campers or tents. The playground offers two swing sets and a small…

Need time to explore more
This is a state park so the main attraction is the location. It’s on Otsego Lake and has a really nice beach and swimming area. They also have a fishing pier and boat launch. It’s close to Gaylord and the city Elk Park. Bathrooms were in ok condition but not great. Most of the sites were dirt…

The sites were kept very well. Lots of wildlife scurrying about. The water was clean and a gorgeous sunset.
Nice large wooded sites Some very private. Clean bathrooms. Nice biking and hiking areas from campground.
Stay in the south lot for a larger sight, the main park is nice, good play area for the kids and nice boat launch
Excellent campground with even better service. Location is central to several activities; Mackinac Island, Petosky, Burt Lake, Mullet Lake etc.. 55 gallon trash bins throughout campground so you don’t have to go all the way to front of campground for dumpsters and they collect regularly. Staff…
Awesome experience here. Some sites have standing water. We did not have issue with standing water at our site, bit many others were flooded. Fully stocked camp store with pizza and ice cream. Fishing off the inlet and Jetties were good.
Not all sites have full hookups
