Close to town, but private

Park on side of road, campfire located down slope. Very little traffic. Felt safe.

Large sites

Large, well organized camping spots along the road. The spot I chose had a beautifully built fire pit. It was a little muddy from rain.

Clean and organized

The designated spots were easy to find. Spacious and clean.

Beautiful, but stuff stolen

Beautiful spot, early - mid April plenty of room & privacy.

Left to go on a hike & came back to our chairs & wood being stolen. Disappointing, but also the chance you take when leaving your personal items unattended.

They took 2 bundles of wood, but left us some. Plenty of wood on the ground to use. Felt safe overall.

Can’t believe it’s free

No water or electric, but for boondockers or self contained rv camping, it’s great. Only downside for me was zero T-Mobile service.

Good for a night of rest

Nice stone fire pits. Plenty of downed trees for firewood. Not dense forests. Could hear & see neighbors, but didn’t bother us.

Beautiful & open wide

Amazing hiking, breathtaking view. You could see car lights from the highway at a distance, but I feel like we could have parked at a different angle to block it.

What a beautiful gift

The owner of this property has graciously allowed people to stay here for free. Please leave with more trash than you came with.

Hot Spring was a little walk, but perfect.

Beautiful Trees

Dirt road to sites isn’t bad at all. Several places to pull off & camp. T-Mobile getting one baby bar.
