The woods and waters of Little Presque Isle offer a variety of habitats for birds and animals to find food, water, and cover. A hike on the 1.1 mile Songbird Trail takes you through a variety of local habitats to view several species of birds.

From Marquette North on County Rd. 550; Harlow Lake Rd is 6.6 miles north from the intersection of Wright Street and Sugar Loaf Ave. Parking for cabins 1 thru 3 is at the end of a short trail road which is located 1.1 miles from County Rd. 550/Harlow Lake Road intersection. Parking for cabins 4 & 5 is at the end of a short trail road which is located 1.2 miles from County Rd. 550/Harlow Lake Road intersection. Parking for Cabin 6 is located just north of Harlow Creek off of County Rd. 550.
